The problem with "Faith-Based" government.
Let's think about this. Why would "faith-based" government be a bad idea?
Whenever I ask that to myself, all I see if that cartoon, I believe it's a Far Side, which has a blackboard with as the title, something like "How the Universe began", followed by a hellish concoction of equations, but in the middle somewhere is a section where the math clears up and it says simply; "And then a miracle happens".
There it is. It's your "out". I've seen some people stating that Bush operates as if he thinks we're living in the "end days". If we are, who the hell (pardon the joke), cares if we run up huge deficits? Right?
