The fun thing about death ...if how it brings out the best in people. It allows them to but old grievances aside, old hurts are tenderly avoide....*cracckle* *Bzzzzt* Whoah!

Whoah! that was weird, I was getting a weblog post coming in from the Bizzaro-universe!

Let me make this perfectly clear to you folks out there; Eventually you are going to die. Eventually, someone is going to have to deal with your children and siblings trying to divide stuff up while in the midst of whatever grief and anger has come out due to your death. Fucking plan for it! Write something down.

Would you have a baby and not get a room, or books or make plans what you're going to do? No! Please get over your fear of admitting you are going to die long enough to make a plan.

So for those of you who've been reading along here, you know that J has been pretty much the "go to" girl for her parents for...well at least the 13 years I've known her. (aside: "go to" is the replacement term I used for the first half-decade, which was "sucker".)

She's handled every major illness that has come up, has handled their medication, their finances (writing bills, usually, not actually spending), used our money to pay their bills. So who would you guess they told to handle their stuff after they died?

That's just mean. She has 7 brothers and sisters. Most of them are cool and pretty rational, but all you need is one nutcake per party.... Not to mention, even cool and rational people get a bit twitchy in situations like this.

J has always said that, because her parents dumped this on her, that the "Battle of the things" was gonna be ugly. It's really starting to look like she was right.
