Tough Consulting

I am in the middle of what is perhaps my toughest consulting job yet, marry a Dreamweaver design to a Manila reality.

The problem is fitting Manila's ease-of-use to an html constricted design. The users don't want to deal with html, while the design has lots of features that require html.

In addition, the site architecture is complex, requiring multiple Manila sites with a similar look and feel, but a different navigation stucture.

It's my current nightmare. More later...

Last year I combined some of the thoughts and observations on sediment transport in antidune flow that I posted here into as single story. Unfortunately, I never provided a link to that story. So I am doing it now.

The discussion provides an overview of sediment transport in antidune flow and provides a basis for understanding the upstream migration and amplification of antidunes.
