Today I made the final jump. I installed OS X on my laptop. I have been using OS X on my desktop for the last year. It is an amazingly stable system.
I am also using OS X to serve ES Designs and my development box. My laptop was my only active machine still running OS 9. In the past year the number of legacy applications that required OS 9 has diminished significantly. In the same time the strengths of OS X have become apparent.
So today, I cleared space off the laptop's hard drive and installed OS X. Now if I need to use the old system, I will need fire up one of my old machines.
