I finally got logged into Apple's Music Store. Not sure why it didn't like the first credit card, but it took the second one without a hitch.
I did a few searches to map out the services limitations. Then I searched for "Copland" because there are some pieces that I still only have on vinyl. Unfortunately, I didn't find any of those pieces. But I did find the Prairie Journal (music for radio) which I had never heard before. It was part of a Music for Movies album. While I have CD versions of the other pieces on the album, this one was new to me. 99 cents for 11 minutes of "new" Copland is a good deal.
Off to explore some more.
