Syrah is back with us for a week. While Shasta understands how to deal with a dog in the house, Yolo is a newbie.
Day one, Yolo hid in my office. She had the puff tail and dove under the credenza every time Syrah came close. Day two, Yolo is starting to understand the new dynamic. While we have a dog in the house who is bigger than anyone else on four legs, Syrah doesn't to go after cats in the house.
Shasta has been here before and knows how to deal with Syrah. Shasta goes underground and we may not see her for a week. Yolo is different, She wants to know who Syrah is. She jumps up on the bed with Syrah to get a closer look.
Now that Yolo has decided that Syrah is mostly harmless, she is back to her normal antics. I think these two could become could friends.
