Pat Dobson Originally uploaded by Tom Clifton. Last night I got to play with a Canon 500 mm f4 prime lens. My jaw dropped when I looked through the lens. The lens is big, unwieldy, and almost to big for a baseball game. But it takes gorgeous shots! The only problem is that it's $5500. So I am still looking for a good, affordable, big lens.
