Moon Shots

These are the first photos I have taken using my new camera/eyepiece adapter. They look better small; before processing they were out of focus and fuzzier because I shot them through cloud cover. I played with the image levels, did a blur/sharpen, and reduced them in size, making them look more in focus.

These were taken on December 18th.

Unfortunately, the camera/eyepiece/telescope assembly is a bit unbalanced, and the telescope tracks badly as a result. I'm going to have to rig up some sort of counterweight system to fix it.

I am also becoming more and more familiar with the challenges of astrophotography, at least for the rank amateur.
