I've been reading many articles that are asserting that publicly taking a stand on the US election is the right thing to do. That staying silent is unpatriotic.

I normally try to keep political discourse off of this page, since I think more about tech issues. But in this case, I feel that the right thing to do is publicly state my point of view.

I'm voting for John Kerry. I feel we are going in the wrong direction. My interpretation on the report on WMD in Iraq says that the sanctions were working.

I feel that cutting revenue and then spending more money is a stupid thing to do. I don't know about you, but if I decided to take a lower paying job, but increase my spending by putting the rest on credit cards, I'd deserve the mess that would certainly follow. It's not the way to run your life, it's not the way to run a country.

The bottom line is that I don't think we're going in the right direction. So Im voting for a different direction.

I'm going to vote for John Kerry.
