New England Lighthouses - A Virtual Guide

These pictures were taked on April 22, 2001. We were on a day trip to see some lighthouses in Rhode Island and Connecticut. This was a pretty nice spring day, not too warm though. Watch Hill Light was all closed up and we couldn't get very close.

Another destination of this trip was Mystic Seaport. This was the first lighthouse that we actually paid to go see - it's inside Mystic Seaport and you have to pay to get inside. They have a spiffy large area for wandering around to see interesting history. We were there for a couple of hours. Our main focus was to wander in, see the lighthouse and get back out. A tall ship (antique sailing boat) was there and it was really cool (picture coming soon).
