These pictures are also from the lighthouse chasing trip on June 4th, 2001.
Nobska Point Light was the first lighthouse that a we got to go inside. We were wandering around the lighthouse grounds taking pictures when the lighthouse keeper happened to come back home. He asked if we had taken a picture from over here (the picture you see below), and since we hadn't we took that picture. Then he asked if we had ever been inside a lighthouse. Linda and I both said no and he took us inside. We signed the guestbook and he even let us go up the stairs to see the light. Linda made it about half way up and had to stop. I went to the top and it was really cool to see. I noticed the lighthouse shaped brass caps on the handrails outside the light. The keeper said that there are only three lighthouses with brass lighthouse caps like that (Nobska, Nubble and one more in New England).
I have to point out that Maureen (my wife) and Darlene were wandering around a different part of the grounds when Linda and I got inside the lighthouse.

The last lighthouse of this trip was the Falmouth Inner Harbor light. It's kinda small but it counts as a lighthouse!
