I use Omni Outliner (a Mac only program) for most of my brainstorming, note-taking and general organization.  When it comes time to share with my Windows colleagues, the best I can do is PDF the file and pass it along.  Here is a page dedicated to Windows Outliner programs.  I just downloaded Lotus Notes to play with it.  <i>I hope it handles OPML</i>
