Recycling thoughts in Blogs? I suspected it all along! But Amit Asaravala has beaten me to the punch in his Wired article that suggests that some of the top bloggers 'recycle' ideas from lesser bloggers. The article does not imply that this is necessarily a 'bad thing', but I do think it is interesting to note. My own opinion is that there is altogether too much (sometimes subtle) marketing being done through blogs - and it is important for the audience to be aware of the fact that they are, in fact, 'a target market'. (this becomes especially important when we think about EduBlogging). Stay tuned for more! PS: If you are going to be in Vancouver in June, come to the NMC conference on the beautiful UBC campus! If there is enough interest, we can arrange a 'birds of a feather' session over lunch to discuss this further. 1:07:13 AM | # | | trackback []

The iPod mini seems to be in short supply here in Sacramento. I was hoping to pick one up (it is not available in Canada yet) but a quick call to the local Apple store let me know that it was not worth finding my way across town. The minis are in, but apparently there is a big list of people who have been waiting for them. Perhaps another week will change all of this. At the same time, I noticed that Target had them listed on their e-Store, so I suspect it is just a matter of time until Apple is able to meet the demand. (When I called te store, I had the distinct impression that it would be easiest to get a green or a pink one ;-P) 12:34:21 AM | # | | trackback []
