Two of my favourites!

Like many, I have been very impressed with the new offerings from Ranchero software. NetNewsWire 2.0 b10 does everything that I want (and more). The latest beta version now supports enclosures and eliminates the need for other podcasting software.

Mars Edit is a gem. I have set it up to contribute to a wide variety of blogs. It works nicely with Radio Userland, Drupal, Moveable Type, Blogger and even (almost) my Educause blog. It is the best way to get photos from Flickr into Radio (other methods are still require hand editing), and serves as a great "re-publishing" tool.

The pair of applications have earned a hallowed place on my crowded dock and get launched regularly!

The iPod photo goes medical: "

We knew there was a good practical use for the iPod photo and that it wasn’t just meant to be a pseudo movie viewer, as doctors in Switzerland have developed OsiriX, a system for displaying medical images via iPod. Docs can easily scroll through for the appropriate picture and they can easily carry around thousands of images with them at all times.
