The last month has been one of my busiest ever! I have been with the NLII for about a year now as one of the NLII Fellows for 2004. The position has been wonderful despite the two or three times in the year when things get really rough. One of those moments was the 2005 NLII Annual meeting. <br>The meeting took place in New Orleans from January 23-25 and had attendees from all over the world. This years meeting had a number piloted a number of new ideas.
The Experience IT track sessions included Murray Goldberg and his Silicon Chalk classroom environment, Judy Perry and PDA based games, Javed Iqubal and PRS use in the classroom, John Belcher and Studio Based Physics and Barb Ganley & Hector Vila talking about blogging in the classroom. All in all the track was quite successful. If you want to follow up on these themes, check out the archives or find out more about our March Focus session on Emerging Practices and Learning Technologies (in Rice on Mar 8th and 9th). The event in NOLA was documented nicely in Flickr. (Hopefully I am back to normal soon). 9:37:40 PM | # | |
