Bryan Alexander talks about Multimedia Literacy at UBC

As a late addition to the Teaching and Learning with Technology series, Bryan Alexander gave a fantastic talk on Multimedia Literacy. Bryan admitted that we could have locked him in the room for 3 days and he could have kept going. In the hour we had Bryan gave a broad overview of the field with dozens of specific references.

For those who missed the talk, a video archive exists and should make its way onto the web sometime soon. This talk was a rare treat.

If you missed it and want to make sure this doesn't happen again, I set up a mailing list for learning technology related news. While it is a Faculty of Agricultural Sciences list, anybody is welcome to join. (Send a 'subscribe lfs-learnlab' command to majordomo@interchange.ubc.ca).
