The importance of RSS for the general public. We are going through a big 're-branding' of our Faculty image and website. We are graduating from MS Front Page to Macromedia Contribute (hooray). Part of my job is to try to sell the idea that our website should be a community site rather than an advertisement site. This shouldn't be that hard since we have an excellent example of this done right in the Botanical Garden. I am struggling to share thoughts like the one below on the importance of RSS but need to be a little more gentle than Scoble (and Roland). These discussions are very charged! Any suggestions? Scoble: You should be fired if you do a marketing site without an RSS feed: " Scoble nails it! Now if he could only spread the word to Canadian marketing people!
