Gaming dialogue at NMC New Haven

Ruben Puentedura is leading a stellar panel on interactive gaming at the NMC regional conference at Yale University.  Ruben has pulled together great representation from a number of disparate field to provide a great overview of the the wide level of interactive, engaging environments.

  • Bryan Alexander is showing Alternate Reality games Perplex City
  • Mark Prensky is discussing mainstream complex games include Spore
  • Multiplayer Massively Parallel games
  • Interactive Fiction

Bryan is blogging this; I am busy downloading the interactive fiction novel Dangerous Curves and the player/ interpreter to try to get a feel for the genre.

Check out the wiki for a very rich set of resources.
