After Exoneration, Then What?

Of course, after you have been wrongfully sentenced following your wrongful conviction because of an illegal arrest, you are not allowed to receive any help from the state. California lets you get a whopping $10,000. So much for tort reform.  5:10:08 PM    


Supreme Court Rebukes Texas Justice

It is because of things like this that people fear so many police and the justice system. To say that by not resisting being handcuffed that the teenager somehow waived his rights is just mind-boggling. Let's see, if I resist I get charged with resisting arrest and, since this is Texas, get the crap beaten out of me. But if I don't arrest, I waive my rights. Texas may single-handedly demonstrate what is wrong with the justice system in ways that may actually affect change.  5:07:30 PM
