Interesting that two British women take the lead when the men in politics fear to go. The Queen talks with Tony about global warming and the Administration. Now Mrs. Blair discusses human rights and this Administration. IN negative terms. On American soil. I wonder if she will ever be alloed back into the country if these guys staay in power. Read this and you will have a better idea of why and how Bush is misleading us again about Tora Bora. and why Franks is complicit. OBL and his leaders appear to have paid the same war lords we were using a large sum of money to allow them to escpae. And those war lords did just that. And our leaders let them. Our military was ordered to just sit there for 4 days and let it happen. Franks was more concerned with develping Iraq war plans that Busj had ordered him to produce than effectively overseeing the Afghan War. Knght-Ridder reporters have been at the forefront of actually getting the right story and demonstrating how much this administration twists the truth. Tora Bora will be seen by historians to be a strategic blunder, one that will be discussed for a long time. Bet on it. (As as a side note, if the Administration had actually done their job effectively for just a few days, gone in and gotten OBL then, they would be well on their way to winning in a landslide now. The American people would have followed the guys who got OBL anywhere. So, they screwed up their OWN strategy by the stupid tactics they used. I think every state should allow early voting. These stories are great and make one very proud. People are waiting in line for hours to vote, recognizing its importance. Sometimes you have to trust the American people. 12:16:56 AM
