| Wed, 11 Jan 2006 - This outstanding photograph of the Orion Nebula was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. The space-based observatory built up the photograph over the course of 105 orbits around the Earth. The full sized image contains a billion pixels, and astronomers were able to discover 3,000 stars of various stars. Hubble also spotted a collection of possible brown dwarfs, which aren't large enough to sustain fusion reactions in their cores. |

Steve Gilliard may not prove to be correct. But that doesn't mean that the prediction isn't fun to read. Go read the whole thing and see how many times you say "HELL YA!" to yourself:
Like a lot of rich people, he longed to be seen as ordinary, a hard working guy making it on his own. And there is enough there to convince people it exists. But go an inch deep and he's a preppy snob. His insult of Tom DeLay was a typical rich boy thing.
The one thing that haunts Bush is failure. His daughters are wastrels, the war is a lost cause, his legacy going down in flames. Bush has failed his entire life. Karl Rove barely got him reelected. Now it's all unravelling before his eyes. His final failure.
Like a spoiled rich kid, Bush decided to lecture his elders last week, seeking that approval which has eluded him his entire life.
Again, go read it all.

Roger Aisles reminds us that underneath that weaselly, angry & bitter exterior Michael Barone is a book that lives up to the cover.
You needed to be reminded, right?
