Sukiyaki by Kyu Sakamoto is posted here on YouTube with nice sound, but Sakamoto's story is told on this other version. I had this 45, back when I was 10 or so, when it came out, and still know almost all the "words" though of course when I was 10 I had no idea what they meant, though today I can read the lyrics on the web. It's a beautiful song, and a great performance, I think. Bob Dylan did it on his tour of Japan in 78, though, alas, he didn't sing it, it was just an instrumental version.
