David Humphreys is now selling new eMate memory upgrades! These upgrades are really pretty much necessary to get the most out of your eMate, but the originals have been off the market for years. Now you can buy a brand new upgrade for only $95 instead of paying over twice that on e-bay (or not finding one at all).

right wing lunacy watch 2.

Via Calpundit, we find this:

Asked whether he favored any policy changes in Iraq, Sen. Trent Lott (R-Miss.) responded: "We need to have a different mix of troops, is the key. We may need to move some troops around."

Lott suggested moving more troops from the relatively stable south closer to the region around Tikrit, where attacks on U.S. forces have been common. He said there was a need for more trained military police, adding that his comments were not a criticism.

"Honestly, itâs a little tougher than I thought it was going to be," Lott said. In a sign of frustration, he offered an unorthodox military solution: "If we have to, we just mow the whole place down, see what happens. Youâre dealing with insane suicide bombers who are killing our people, and we need to be very aggressive in taking them out."

Yeah, mass murder is "unorthodox" all right. So bombers killing military personnel who have invaded and occupied their country is "insane" but massacring Iraqi civilians is OK? Trent Lott is the insane one.

Here's my proposed "unorthodox military solution": Leave Iraq immediately. And be sure to apologize profusely while doing so.

Freudian Slip?.

From Bush's press conference yesterday:

I'll say that the world is more peaceful and more free under my leadership, and America is more secure.

Was I the only one who did a double take at that?

[Hit & Run]

The United States goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is a well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. If the United States took up all foreign affairs, it would become entangled in all the wars of interest and intrigue, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom. She might become the dictatress of the world. She would be no longer the ruler of her own soul.
