A Pretty Good Way to Foil the NSA. The man who angered the world's eavesdroppers by releasing PGP in the 1990s is back, this time with voice-encryption software that might be good enough to frustrate illegal telephone surveillance -- no matter who's doing it. Ryan Singel reviews Zfone. [Wired News: Top Stories]

I'm eagerly waiting for the Windows version.

Scientists Applaud Call to Exterminate 90% of Humanity.

If you want to know what our self-annointed "elites" think of you, Dr. Eric R. Pianka's speech at the Texas Academy of Science and its enthusiastic reception give you an idea. Pianka's speech was ordered to be kept off the record, and cameras were turned away before it began. However, Forrest M. Mims was able to make notes on the speech. Pianka began by exclaiming, "We're no better than bacteria!" The speech went downhill from there.

Pianka advocated airborne Ebola as his preferred method of exterminating 90% of humans, choosing it over AIDS because of its faster kill period. Ebola virus kills by liquefying the internal organs, and the body literally dissolves as the victim writhes in pain bleeding from every orifice.

The scientist also welcomed the potential devastation of bird flu and spoke approvingly of China's enforced one child policy, before adding:

"We need to sterilize everybody on the Earth."

At the end of Pianka's speech, the audience erupted in a loud chorus of applause and cheers. I wonder when Dr. Pianka and his supporters will be committing suicide to "save the Earth?" Or do they believe, like the Nazis, that it's only other people who need to be exterminated?

You get some of this contempt for ordinary people and hatred of humanity in general in the writings of many environmentalists, but rarely do they so openly reveal their underlying agenda: creating a pristine environment for their own comfort and enjoyment, and, if that entails the economic ruin or even deaths of the ignorant rabble, so much the better.--The Citizen Scientist [Police State USA]

With this is mind I guess it's not surprising that ecofreaks never show any remorse or regret for the DDT ban, which has resulted in millions of children dying of Malaria.
