We remember

We live
      within the fine line
      between the underworld and the sky

We have been here
      since Thought Being
      gave birth to shape

We have no choice
      but to listen to the voices
      caught between our
      joints as they struggle
      towards sunlight

We will know
      when it is time
      by the movement
      birthed within our ribcage

We have not forgotten
      our journey
      towards this moment
