It is time to make this weblog work harder. I have added some more external links to the Navigation sidebar at right, and have begun better organizing them. There are a few new Flash MX weblogs worth reading now. I have a feeling that Flash MX is going to be very, very important indeed.
I have also added some new Categories, with Book Reviews, Flash + The Web, and Photography being the three most important. Others include Essays + PDFs, Interviews, Life on Perth, Movies and Sounds.
And, when I have the time, I will build my own template and graphics for this weblog, using CSS.

The always readable, always essential Web Page Design for Designers website has, as is its wont at the beginning of each month, updated.
In this issue:
- Why Bother with Old Browsers?
- Style Sheets without Tears Part 2— playing safe.
- Adobe Photoshop 7.0—what’s in it for web designers?
- Flash MX—major revamp with lots of goodies.
Also, screen font foundry spin-off Minifonts.com has some new and as ever excellent fonts for sale at low, low prices. Every multimedia and web designer should own and use these. Down with fuzzy type! Viva sharp readable type onscreen!

Despite the UserLand servers that host this weblog still apparently being down, I will continue to post new items. Here is hoping they manage to fix it soon. This is an awful situation.
