After many months of searching, I have found 3 (yes, three) remaining Tree of Life plants in East Perth, curiously enough in streets intersecting with the ones I used to live in. Yay! I will bring a bag or two to work tomorrow, and collect leaves from one of the plants so I can grow my own in Inglewood.
The Tree of Life is emblematic of East Perth for me, more so as I planted many of them in the streets and parks surrounding my homes there. I had thought that all the Trees—really a small flowering plant than anything resembling a tee—had been destroyed along with my old houses. Perhaps someone else loves these odd little plants as much as I do?
In any case, the three plants were hidden well away from plain view.

Until further notice I will be flat out building presentation materials for two crucial ones that have to be made in the current week. Not the best state of mind for being all literary, I am afraid. Another presentation last week went rather well, so that has provided added incentive for this next couple.
