I was at the Webloggers' End Of Year Party 2004, which was fun, though less manic than last year. I met some new people including the Joe-90-alike who writes This Isn't London,
a snackfood guru, and Juliana, a highly decorated non-weblogger
(sensible woman). I also caught up with several people I haven't seen
for a while, which was great.
After time was called I went with a few others to the Crow Bar, a bar
down a sidestreet next to Foyles, which looked like a cross between a
body-modification conference and the cantina scene out of Star Wars. As
is often the case on these occasions, the people I met were uniformly
charming.
On Sunday I was lucky enough to go to Steve's place for an afternoon of great food and board games with a bunch of friends.
In short, it was a Good Weekend.
