Pat Delaney "Find It, Read It, Write It." How easy to use Web publishing is transforming education and libraries.
>>>One k-12 analogy to Robb's referenced Intranet K-log of "higher yields of relevant links/data for customer service inquiries" is our mlk FiRiWi (Find it. Read it. Write it.) log, an application of Manila blogs to create student workspaces for finding, storing, reading, paraphrasing, rearranging, writing, revising, editing and publishing research. Late this year, our 6th. grade students began to use FiRiWi for I-Search projects.<<< [John Robb's Radio Weblog]

FCC = Hands of Wi-Fi With the FCC caving in daily to the interests of the large telco companies, it seems now that the WI-FI sprectrum is under assault. Kevin Werboch tells how we can protest now! If this is true then possible public initiatives to get wireless internet access hotspots in the marginated communities may have its feet cut out from under by the FCC. It seems that President Bush is more about centralized power, which is totally not Republican, Classic Republicans must be rolling in their grave now. Either the public speaks up or we suffer the consequences due to our collective silence. This may seem like a non-issue right now, but the consequences will have a negative effect on bridging the "Digital Divide"

Ed Cone reviews Radio: "I would recommend Radio to both the power blogger and the hobbyist. And I would recommend it to business users looking for ways to reach their customers, partners, etc. I would also recommend that UserLand continue to make the product simpler and more intuitive, and the help files easier to use for the mass-market audience."
