I have found this week's verse to be immensely helpful. It is more than just realizing that we are engaged in spiritual warfare. It is about this wonderful weapon we have for waging such a battle. Namely, taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Many times in this last week I have found myself in tempting situations - usually a temptation to lust after another woman. Recalling this verse made it relatively easy to respond to each situation; I sought to make my thoughts obedient to Christ. Try memorizing this verse by writing it down on a 3x5 notecard and carrying it around with you. It is a powerful weapon in times of temptation.

Verse of the Week:II Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
