InWord: Just a quick plug for the great folks over at InWord Resources. They
put together some wonderful inductive bible studies for youth. I have been
leading youth bible studies for only a few years, but I am thrilled with the
inductive study-based material Barry Schaeffer and his team have put
together. Our junior and senior high youth seem to really like it also. It
requires a lot less time than Cokesbury's (excellent) Youth Disciple
course, is not quite as difficult to approach as Precept's (also excellent)
Precept Upon Precept
studies, and yet is indepth enough to make students think and to satisfy
their hunger for a better understanding of God's word.
If you check the link to InWord gave you, you will see Barry in front of
a whiteboard talking to a group of students.

The Woman At The Well: I had some more thoughts about this passage
today. I think that when Jesus says, in verse 22, that the Samaritans
"worship what you do not know" He is saying that they know of God, but they
do not know Him; they know the rituals to follow in worship, but they do not
have a relationship with Him. To worship in spirit is the opposite of
worshiping in the physical. To worship God in spirit and in truth is to not
only acknowlege the truth of who he is (upon which time we receive the
Spirit of His Son) but to participate in a relationship with Him.
