Just a few weeks ago I was in Torrance, CA for a training class -
Guerilla.NET. I had also been in Torrance last May for a similar training
class - Guerilla.XML. I am a glutton for round-the-clock punish yourself
type training classes! At any rate, this most recent trip brought back many
memories of the previous trip. One came I while in the washroom. Keep
reading. While out there in May I noticed one day that somebody had
stregically placed a number of small slips of paper on the counters nearby
the paper towels. They had fairly small type. I picked one up and began
reading... "1. Remeber your life is a jouney to an eternal destination; with
Jesus, you will spend eternity...". It was an eight-item list of scriptures
to lead the unbelieving to Christ. Cool! I put the little slip of paper
back. I figured somebody else might need it more than I. I think they
disappeared a day or so later, but then kept popping up again in odd places
- always in the washroom. On this recent trip, I kept watching for those
pieces of paper. I know not why. It seemed highly unlikely that they would
show up again. And, indeed, they did not. Imagine my surprise then when I
was unpacking and saw one of these same slips of paper floating out from
between two books I had picked up while in Torrance.
