From the Health Dept:

Hmm... I've been sick the last few days (almost constant dizziness), but they've probably been my most prolific days on this site. Yesterday I posted 6 stories (probably some sort of record for me), and today I went hog-wild with some censorship commentary.

Oh yes, and in my 20 minutes of playing HALO (official site) I finished up a level I've been struggling on for a few days. And was soooooo sick afterwards.

Tomorrow I should be able to get some real work done. Especially if tonight is any indication.

From the Temp Dept:

Ummmmm... yeah. BTW, percent values for img tags don't work that well on Radio websites.

I know they're not legal anymore. And I know this page needs some work to make it valid. But grrr.

From the X-Rated? Dept:

Internet Filters Block Health Information, Study Finds. By John Schwartz. [New York Times: NYT HomePage]

Yes. The difference of one word is all it takes to make a request x-rated. Like "cancer" or "safe" or "health". With these words, the page probably contains, legit, health related, information. Words like "21", "naked", "adult", etc, and it's probably p0rn.

Maybe statistical techniques such as used in bayesian spam filtering would help in this area as well.

Of course, I know little about statistics, and very little about web filtering software, but I do know that SpamSieve works very well filtering my email.

Maybe the Power Of Math can help here too?
