My Powerbook mysteriously died a few weeks ago. I was able to get all my important files either checked into source control or backed up using Firewire Target Disk Mode with my desktop G5. I then backed up my other (non source controlled) documents, wiped the hard drive, reinstalled the OS, and put 2 or 4 of my tools on the machine.

Then I let it sit for a week. I was using the G5 for production (something I should have started doing a long time ago), and I really didn't need the Powerbook to do anything.

So it sat on my desk, until I decided to install a few more tools and Radio tonight.
