Monitor on the wall (well, might as well be)

Tonight I bought two Rubbermade Monitor stands, after realizing that I hunch a little bit when using the computer.

The two stands add about 4.5" to the height of the monitor, which means that the center of the screen is about where my eyes are. Of course, that means that the top of the monitor feels really high.

Two disadvantages, in biggest to littlest order: my main monitor now noticeably wobbles when I type (This might be a big issue: I don't think this is caused by the stand itself, but amplified by it, because the iMac did this while directly on my desktop, but not this noticably), and now half my desk surface is taken up by my two monitor stands (instead of just 1/4 of the desk being taken up by a flat screen monitor and a iMac.) It's a very small consolation that I can put stuff under the stands.

But: woh, what a difference in my posture. It also feels like the monitors are on a wall, because I thought that eye-height is where people instinctively hang things.
