The Strange Case of the Disappearing Open Source Vendors is Tim O'Reilly's annual summary of the state of Open Source. As usual, Tim's eloquent and insightful, with his main point being that while there may not be a lot of successful Open Source vendors, there are definitely a huge number of successful Open Source users.
