The journalists didn't even attempt to discuss the implications -- for fair use and free speech, among other things -- of Hollywood's insistence that it have absolute control over how digital content may be used. Why would a news organization care about such things, after all? In general, the slant of the piece couldn't have been more one-sided. But what could we expect from a company owned by Viacom, a member in good standing of the copyright cartel? Balance? Ha. [Dan Gillmor's eJournal]
