...today we resume posting of the Wayback Journal. We find our 15 year old protagonist agonizing over the usual assortment of aggravations: family, nonexistent love-life, the demands of a career ~ well, okay, there's no career per se, but the musical life is definitely making its demands felt.
She goes for help and advice to both the resident devil (who like Lucifer is a honey-tongued deceiver but whom she believes has her best interests at heart) Mr. K, and to the resident angel Mr. M, who gives her profound but not terribly comforting advice: "Do what you think is right."
Oh, and that doctor who said nothing was wrong with me that a few days' rest wouldn't fix? He was mistaken.
