In 1998 I was hired to create a website for St. Columba's Episcopal Church. The diehard agnostic found herself in a faith-based environment where it was safe to explore and I was never prosletyzed. I discovered a church where the intellect was neither despised nor dismissed, where questions were acknowledged and welcomed. My anti-religious-institution prejudices were put sorely to the test.

So I decided to see where my exploration might take me.
