I'm not sure that I can keep up with everyone contributing to the 'count' at macosx.com but it's clear that I need to post a couple every day or this exercise will last 5 months :-)

Another iChat feature for tonight. iChat allows peer-to-peer file transfers - by far the easiest way to send a file from a one computer to another. Just drag and drop any document from the Finder to an online user on your buddy list and voila (can you tell I'm getting ready for Apple Expo Paris ).

I'm thrilled by all the reports around the web from people that turned out for the Jaguar launch around the world. There were several members of the Jaguar team at the Palo Alto and Valley Fair stores and they all were blown away by the reception to all their hard work. They really do appreciate the support - yes that sounds like marketing, but all good marketing starts with the truth, you know.

OK - the feature for today is.... iChat, an AOL Compatible Instant Messaging application that we designed to be a great IM app with an Aqua UI, free from ads, stock quote tickers and other distractions. What's been amazing about iChat is how we've introduced IM to countless people that never clicked in to it before (myself included). You can use your existing AIM screen name or your mac.com address - by the way, you need to let your Windows friends know that they must upgrade to the latest AIM client in order chat with mac.com members. The update allows you to enter screen names with @ symbols.
