When the World of "Ought to Be" and the World of "Is" are the same
I am soon off to work. Got to go "earn" my living. Today, I work from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM. (13.5 hours). You have to go to school a long time to get to work those kind of hours.
In my world of "ought to be", people would read Alfred Korzybski and Arthur Young. Don Steehler writes:
Timothy:
I managed to finish reading Manhood of Humanity today, and continued with Young's Reflexive Universe. I shortly met another surprise: Young's concept of dimensionality was derived from the same person who I mentioned in my original letter to you - Fritz Kunz. Young (p. 37) references an article by Kunz (earlier than the essay that I am familiar with). Something I thought of was to do a Google search to see if I could find something regardng Young and/or Kunz. Voila! If you follow this link you'll find the Kunz reference in footnote 3.
After finding the material for Young, I thought I'd try Korzybshi. I found links to 2 online editions of Manhood of Humanity: ESGS and Institute of General Semantics . If may be helpful for you to add a link to your web site. In addition, here's a biography .
I thought of something that might be interesting and useful to write with respect to Manhood of Humanity. It would probably take about a week before I could manage to send it to you.
I hope that some of the above links will prove useful to you.
Synergetically, Don
They already have Don. Thanks a lot, I am going to have a great day!
