Flash has 97% of the installed base of browsers. And Laszlo looks to be a nice tool to author systems in Flash - better, perhaps the Flash MX. It would seem that you just some HTML-like XML and some Javascript and - viola - you have your Flash app.

So what use could that be? Well, how about constructing a nice desktop app which showcases news and ads? Or, perhaps more interestingly, why not create an edit system in Flash? Portable, controllable. Sophisticated. Cool. And so on.
