Tabs in Panther? In recent release of Mac OS X, Apple has used a new button style, what we call bubble buttons. With Panther, Apple has finally made clear what the function of these grouped button... tabs! Here's an example. Below is the current Sharing preference panel in Jaguar. And below is the same Sharing preference panel in Panther. Also notice the new treatment for tab panels... a mix between a panel and a well. We had to make our own bubble buttons for Contribute OS X, because the Appearance Manager doesn't have any built-in support for them. Perhaps Panther and the new HITheme will provide them? 10:26:13 AM
