PARKINSONS: Yesterday I participated in the Connecticut Parkinson's Working Group quarterly meeting at the Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown.  It was an excellent investment of over six hours with several workshops focused on  the needs of PWP (People With Parkinsons).  I joined PWP two years ago. The workshops were led by professionals who donated their time in five areas: Nia (neuromuscular integrative action), Massage theraphy, Tai Chi, Vocal Tract Efficiency, and The value of exercise.  Over 40 PWP and Caregivers attended.  We all felt that we learned some new ideas from the workshops that will help us in our battle with Parkinsons.  If anyone would like to join, please contact:
