With a lock on the desktop operating system and office productivity applications markets, and a healthy share of the server OS segment, Microsoft is searching for ways to continue to stoke continued growth. Next stop, CRM. This CNET piece offers an excellent overview of CRM market dynamics while debating the risks to current players. Onyx and other smaller vendors do a fine job of whistling past the graveyard and the big boys are dismissive - a cockiness that will no doubt prove to be misplaced.
