Pics of CEC's wristphone. Some pics of the F88, CEC's new wristphone, which is very, um, large. It almost looks like it'd be more convenient to just to strap a regular cellphone onto your wrist. Also note the earpiece/ring in the picture on the left. From what we've heard, Samsung's GSM wristphone, which actually looks like a wristwatch, should drop here in the States in October. Should Sony buy Apple?. In the September issue of Wired, Josh McHugh gives Sony a piece of advice: buy Apple. Or at the very least cut some sort of distribution deal with them. While we love the fantasy baseball aspect of speculating on all these potential matchups - Disney and Apple, Apple and Universal, etc - we really hope Sony doesn't take his advice. Casting aside the issue of whether or not Sony could successfully integrate Apple, McHugh himself concedes that the really tricky part would be convincing Steve Jobs to sell. But even on the off-chance that Jobs would sell his beloved Apple, we still wouldn't want this to happen. We love Sony (admittedly in a dysfunctional, wish-they-we're doing-better kind of way) and we love Apple (in a wish-we-could-afford-a-G5 kind of way), but we also really like the fact that they're competitors and that each company is constantly trying to out do the...
