Several of the crown corporation heads have been suspended following the recent sponsorship scandal, they are as follows:
Marc LeFrançois, President and Chief Executive Officer of VIA Rail Canada Inc. (suspended without pay).
André Ouellet, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canada Post Corporation (suspended with pay).
Michel Vennat, President of the Business Development Bank of Canada (suspended without pay).
André Ouellet, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canada Post Corporation (suspended with pay).
Michel Vennat, President of the Business Development Bank of Canada (suspended without pay).
Note: Michel Vennat was not suspended due to the sponsorship scancal, he was suspended due to findings by Mr. Justice Denis about his behaviour in relation to the past president François Beaudoin.
