Jeffery Zeldman outlines
what I find most frustrating about working with CSS and the constant
internal struggle that comes from knowing that tables and javascript
will work everywhere. It's good to be reminded why we all have to work
hard to adopt CSS and solve the issues with it.
I've been working part-time on a website that was originally designed
using tables, that I am now redoing in CSS in XHTML, i've learned a lot
and the new site should be a dream to maintain. I'm lucky enough to
have a client who although is not very web savy understood that even
though there would be no visual change that her site would be greatly
enhanced by the time the conversion is done.
