Ryan asks a question of his RSS readers (of which I am one):

I'm making longer posts these days as you've probably noticed. To make my RSS feed smaller I'm only including an excerpt of each post. For people that read my RSS feed (all three of you): do you mind coming to my page to read the whole post?

First let me preface this by saying that I enjoy reading Ryan's posts and if he feels that the best way to setup his RSS is by including only an excerpt of each post then so be it. But since he asked for an opinion...

Actually, yes I do mind.

I like being able to read the entire post in my aggregator. Ideally I would like toget all of my news without ever having to go to another page. I believe that RSS should push out the maximum amount of information, the aggregator can always be configured to display less of it, but it can't display what isn't there.

On some occasions I won't even read the full post if it's not included in the RSS feed...
