2004 Presidential Election

Update: NHPrimary.com: "Democrat Bob Graham said Saturday that he soon will decide the future of his presidential campaign, but would not say whether he is considering quitting the race."

Carol Mosely Braun was in Denver yesterday speaking at at the 24th annual Tribute to Black Women Celebration, hosted by the Colorado Black Women for Political Action, according a short article in the Denver Post [October 5, 2003, "Candidate warms to challenges"]. From the article, "Braun, the first black woman elected to the U.S. Senate and a former ambassador to New Zealand, told the crowded conference room that individual action is responsible for creating a "climate of opinion" that shapes future public policy. 'The climate of opinion is just like any other weather system; it depends on the hot air from the ground,' Braun said. Despite, for the most part, the other candidates raising more money and leading her in polls, Braun is forging ahead with her campaign to unseat President Bush."
